Asset Manager makes managing resources a snap

Managing and maintaining assets are integral functions of the Academic Benchmarks alignment system. Until recently, the only options available for such tasks were forms in the alignment interface itself and the rudimentary outline tool. Today we have a revolutionary new tool that will make these formerly tricky, troublesome tasks a snap: the Asset Manager.

The new Asset Manager offers an intuitive, sleek new way for managing your assets. What you might notice first, when accessing the Asset Manager tool, are the options for viewing all assets, as well as different views to take advantage of the variety of asset types. An advanced searching feature provides quick access to an asset or asset set, eliminating the need to look through long lists or click through long pages. Clicking on an asset opens up a pane that displays an asset's information for quick review or editing capabilities; no longer are multiple tools necessary to edit one asset.

The Asset Manager is not just about maintaining previously-developed assets; it also offers the ability to create new assets on the fly. The smart creation wizard steps you through the process of creating a new asset. From there, the Align button provides a quick link to the alignment system to align the new asset to state standards.

New functionality is being added to the Asset Manager on a regular basis. One new feature that will become available soon is the ability to re-parent and re-sequence assets. Another upcoming new feature includes the ability to mass-update an entire bank of assets. Please check the Asset Manager frequently to access these and other new functions.
